Shiley Eye Center Residents and Fellows Graduate
On June 6, 2004, a celebration for the graduating residents
and fellows within the Department of
Ophthalmology was held at Dr. Stuart I. Brown's home. Bobby Korn,
M.D., was recognized as
incoming Chief Resident for 2004-2005, and succeeds Victoria
Morrison, M.D. Kristine Harvey, M.D.,
was awarded
the Best Resident Teacher Award for the second consecutive year
by the medical
students participating in the Ophthalmology elective.
Robert N.
Weinreb, M.D., Vice Chairman of the Department of
Ophthalmology and Director of the Hamilton Glaucoma
Center, was awarded the Outstanding Faculty Teaching
Award by the residents. Leah Levi, M.D., Chief of
Neuro-ophthalmology at the Shiley Eye Center, was
awarded the Outstanding Faculty Teaching Award by
the medical students. Karim Punja, M.D., was awarded
Outstanding Fellow Teaching Award by the
