Dr. James Lindsey is committed to research on retinal ganglion cell function, methods for retinal ganglion cell rescue and optic nerve regeneration and mechanisms for aqueous outflow regulation glaucoma. Lindsey graduated from the University of California, San Diego, with a Ph.D. in Neurosciences. He completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Ophthalmology at the Wilmer Institute, The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Baltimore, Maryland.
He is a member of the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology and a reviewer for a number of journals, including Current Eye Research, Investigative Ophthalmlogy and Visual Science, Journal of Glaucoma, Journal of Neuroscience Methods and the Survey of Ophthalmology.
