Christopher Bowd received his Ph.D. from Washington State
University, Experimental Psychology / Neuroscience. He
then went on to become a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the University
of California, San Diego, Department of Ophthalmology,
Shiley Eye Center Glaucoma Center.
His research interests include development and evaluation
of techniques for the early detection and monitoring of
glaucoma, including optical imaging of the optic nerve
and retinal nerve fiber layer and psychophysical testing
and neural network analysis of optical imaging data in
glaucoma.
Dr. Bowd is a member of the Association for Research in
Vision and Ophthalmology.
